 An "EduBloggerCon" is an "unconference" gathering of educators interested in Web 2.0 and social media, and one is held as an annual gathering at several educational technology shows, capped by an all-day event the Saturday before the ISTE conference. EduBloggerCons are typically run in "unconference" style, with the agenda for the days discussions being decided at the start of the day.

SupportBlogging!  http://www.SupportBlogging.com
SupportBlogging! was set up in 2006 up to provide an opportunity for students, teachers, administrators, parents, and others to help promote an understanding of the benefits of educational blogging during the dialog on DOPA. The wiki grew so quickly that within days of being started it drew the attention of School Library Journal, which soon published a short article on it. With the collaborative efforts of edubloggers worldwide, the site now provides help to new bloggers; runs an email list for edubloggers; lists and allows searching of hundreds of student, teacher, class, administrator blogs; lists and allows searching of articles, books, videos, podcasts, workshops, and conferences on edublogging.

Unplugged Events - http://www.CUEunplugged.com & http://www.ISTEunplugged.com
CUE Unplugged is held during and as a part of the annual Computer Using Educators conference (CUE). It is two days of presentations where anyone attending CUE can sign up to present, held on-site in its own live audience area with an interactive whiteboard, a microphone, and amplified sound. All CUE Unplugged sessions are streamed live through Elluminate and recorded as well. ISTE Unplugged is held during and as a part of the annual International Society for Technology in Education Conference (ISTE ). It is three days of presentations where anyone attending ISTE can sign up to present, held on-site in its own live audience area with an interactive whiteboard, a microphone, and amplified sound. All ISTE Unplugged sessions are streamed live through Elluminate and recorded as well.
